Her footsteps although quiet echoed in the alley, soon she arrived at the exit. The courtyard that greeted her had been reclaimed by nature, out of the cracked concrete emerged various plants which swayed to and fro in the frigid breeze. This is a really short piece of old writing, I guess it's serviceable but nothing special.
